If we keep it simple and keep it classy, there’s really nothing to ponder here. The answer is an emphatic “NO!”

slocums.com

A glass of gin is an absurdity until you add the olive. In fact, some believe that the olive is the best part of a martini.

Typically, martini drinkers savor the olive at the end of the drink. Olives soak up some of the gin and vermouth, giving them a unique taste.

Always use fresh olives. Old olives will ruin a martini. In my opinion, the best olive to add to a martini is a blue cheese stuffed olive. Mmmmm!

And don’t forget to use The Olive Express for your blue cheese stuffed olives. Keep it simple. Keep it classy.

You have to try these! I did a trial run before the big Halloween buffet and these are awesome! It took all of ten minutes from opening the can of olives to completion.

www.oliveexpress.net

All you need is one of the small containers of cheddar cheese spread, and a couple of cans of JUMBO black olives.

The Olive Express olive stuffer works well with the cheddar cheese spread. Just push it in the cheese, insert in olive and press. I had to do this twice for each olive…..the JUMBO’s are pretty big…..but well worth the extra shot.

Here’s a picture I took. I just arranged some cucumber slices, red peppers and crackers on a plate. We munched on these for lunch today. Wish I would have had more. (I only had one can of olives.) The kids gobbled them up!

www.oliveexpress.net

Because these are so easy, and so yummy, and so “appropriately-autumn” with the orange and black colors, AWESOME AUTUMN OLIVES are going on my table all through the fall season. These should really be great for Thanksgiving, too!

I think I’ll buy a nice mild cheddar – in a great orange color – and use The Olive Express to stuff some big ol’ black pitted olives. These should be a great addition on the buffet table for the Halloween bash. Bet the kids will even have a few of these in lieu of their candy!

I’ll do a preview this week before the big bash, take a pic, and let you know how it goes…

Create made-to-order cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by filling pitted olives with flavor. Stuff olives with a variety of cheeses, chopped onion, minced garlic, crab or lobster meat.

Ah, the quest for the perfect martini. Martini’s are a classy drink for classy people. Think Sinatra and The Rat Pack…Ian Fleming and James Bond…William Powel in The Thin Man.

perfectpeople.com

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear from the start. The Perfect Martini is a cocktail made with gin…not vodka; and just the promise of vermouth…very dry vermouth; and a blue cheese-stuffed olive…an Olive Express blue cheese stuffed olive.

Unlike other libations, outstanding ingredients are the key to The Perfect Martini. Inferior components cannot masquerade in this simple, sophisticated cocktail. Beefeater is the classic gin. Cinzano is the superlative vermouth. And an Olive Express blue cheese stuffed olive will splendidly top it off.

outlawstudent.com

Here’s the recipe:

Fill a metal martini shaker with about six ice cubes and pour in a capful of the Cinzano.

Swirl the ice and vermouth a few seconds, and pour the vermouth down the drain. (Noel Coward suggested that a perfect martini should be made by “filling a glass with gin then waving it in the general direction of Italy”.)

Add two shots of gin (that has been kept in your freezer) and shake forty…yes…40 shakes.

Strain this superb libation into a chilled martini glass and gently slide in your Olive Express blue cheese stuffed olive.

flickr.com

Voila! The Perfect Martini! It’s from another era…and meant to take time with. Enjoy!

The Perfect Martini…….”the elixir of quietude.”

Here we will keep you updated on our product, The Olive Express…the ORIGINAL olive stuffer!

It was 2002. Marty Marcuccilli strayed from his favorite watering hole to imbibe in a martini at a chic, urban bar. It was there that he watched the bar maid clumsily stuff blue cheese in his martini olive…..with her finger nail!

They say that “necessity is the mother of invention”. Marty begs to differ with you. The Olive Express is an ingenious product that was born to stuff an olive with blue cheese. Today, The Olive Express is the sophisticated stuffer for olives…..and beyond!

See how The Olive Express has transformed this tedious task to being quick and easy. Watch the video. See Marty, the inventor of the ORIGINAL olive stuffer. Buy The Olive Express today!
